It has been such a long time since I have been on here and it is because we have been seeing all of our people that we missed so very much. We had drinks and game nights with Richmond's best friend, Ethan, and his wife, Alex. I am so proud to call them my friends. Lake days and long chats with Alex are something I never knew I needed until I had them. đ
It is crazy to think about how many people we have in our life from Ogunquit. I grew up vacationing there and he lifeguarded there for years. We have so many separate memories and it gives me such a warm feeling that our worlds collided and now I have so many more wonderful people in my life that I would have never had without him.
Visiting home is allowing us to spend much needed time with some of our favorite people. It is crazy to think that this time last year I barely knew a lot of them, and now I can't imagine not having them in my life. Words could never begin to describe how much I love how last night's girls night dinner joined up with guys night, for all of us to pile into Nina's car to get late night Scoop Deck ice cream (the best ice cream ever). I wish I could have endless late night talks with Nina by the ocean.
There is this old run down cottage that the lifeguards rent out every summer. We lived there last year and Richmond lived there the year that we met. We have so many memories and stories in that cottage and being back was so nice. Richmond and I spent a lot of time last night reminiscing and I am so just grateful for the friends and memories I have made in Ogunquit, and all that is to come. I wouldn't trade our moments and friends there for anything.
