I can't even tell y'all how special the people in my life are. New England is a place that is still very shut down because of the quarantine and my friends and family made it so special.
22 was a crazy year and on the surface, I really felt like not a lot happened. I felt like I spent the first half of being 22, pretty sad and defeated because I felt stuck in New England and let down by the way the world worked and how my job searching was going post graduation. It was when I looked at my life and decided I needed to do something about it, that I picked up and moved my life to Charleston. I felt like I was robbed of being 22 by feeling sad for a long time, followed by being quarantined because of corona. The reality is that I moved myself to the place I always wanted to be. I found a way to live in the city I always dreamed of living in with my ideal apartment. I also started this blog, like I have always wanted to. I made some of the biggest decisions of my life so far, during my year of 22. I learned so much about myself and as much as I feel like it could have been better, I know deep down that everything that happened taught me something so important about myself. I learned a lot of lessons and I feel like I am so much more prepared for 23. I have so much ahead of me and I am so excited to see where this year takes me.
