Let's Catch Up

Hey hey, it's been a while because I have been all over the place. 🤪

Let’s catch up and run though the past few weeks!

I love traveling and adventuring and while it is exhausting I have always firmly believed that those moments are the ones you remember the most. Life is short and I would rather pack mine full of crazy times and have a trove of memories to share than rest. Maybe not always my best plan, but it's fine lol.

Disney ✨

My flight to Disney was out of Myrtle Beach, 2 hours from Charleston. It was a really early flight and I am a night owl so my plan of attack was to just pull an all-nighter. I hung out with my cousin who goes to school in Myrtle Beach and she drove me to the airport. I got to Disney for the first time ever and it truly was magical. I get the hype. I was beyond exhausted but I got to see some of my best pals in the most magical place on earth. Naturally we went to Epcot and proceeded to eat and drink around the world. We ate dinner in The Magic Kingdom at The Beauty and The Beast castle. It was something that dreams are quite literally made of. I, of course was in rough shape all day from my poor choices of pulling an all-nighter but it was well worth it. The rest of our trip was to Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. I would say some of the highlights were getting down poured on, followed by drinking wine at a beautiful French restaurant in Epcot... while also watching fireworks, wearing a Mickey Mouse sweatshirt. The last day I got to be Chewy and fly the Millennium Falcon with my buddy, Han Solo (Michael). It was a great trip and it reminded me how lucky I am to have the friends that I do. I really have great people in my life.

ETW Visits 💗

My friend Erin from High School came to visit me in Charleston the weekend before I went to High Point. I gave her the speedy grand tour of Charleston and we had a really great visit. She lives in Florida so I don't see her very often but we have been friends since about 8th grade so I love getting to be ridiculous with her whenever I can. It was a quick little adventure together, so it is my turn to visit her next.

High Point 💜

I visited High Point University for a few days before I went to Nashville and I am really glad that I did.I got to see my squish of a sister, some friends that still go there and one of my best friends from college. It was really nice to catch up with everyone but one of the best moments from the entire trip was hanging out with my freshman year roommate. Hailey and I were freshman year random roommates and I am forever thankful that HPU brought us together. We used to be so close and then we graduated and life just kind of happened. She is in law school right now, absolutely killing it in life. I stayed with her one of the nights I was there and we just had a simple wine night watching Riverdale, but she is one of those friends that even though I haven’t talked to her in three years, it was like no time had passed. Now, I just have to convince her to move to Charleston when she graduates! Lol.

Karrie’s Nashville Bachelorette Party 💍

Karrie is one of my sorority college friends and let me just say, it was definitely nice to have 865 back together again. We all moved to completely different cities when we graduated so we are rarely all together. It is absolutely crazy to me that one of us is getting married for the sole reason that it just still doesn’t feel like we ever left college… even though we obviously graduated like three years ago… 🤯 Can someone please explain to me how we became old overnight?

We did A LOT while we were in Nashville so I will just list all the places we went…

  • Grand Ole Opry Hotel

  • Party Bike

  • Wild Horse Saloon

  • Hampton Social

  • Whiskey Row

  • Pinewood Social

  • Frothy Monkey

We covered a lot of ground in just a few days but our Airbnb was gorgeous and the Maid & Matron of Honor absolutely crushed it all weekend with decorations and plans. We had quite the time and it was so great to see everyone. Can’t wait for March 12th when we celebrate Karrie getting married. If you don’t already follow me on Tik Tok, you should for all our shenanigans.

Ever Since…

I am finally back in Charleston and I am clearly still trying to pull it together from my trip since I am just now posting this blog. 🤪I have been working on a rebrand for my business Instagram page and leveling up both my client list and my brand image. I will be launching that soon, so stay tuned. We all know I simply work all the time, aside from my adventures so it has been nice to get back into the groove of making progress with my company. I also love Charleston, so being back in the crisp fall air in South Carolina is really nice. My next trip is going to be back home for Christmas and I am super excited to see my friends and family. In case you didn’t know, November 12th is a holiday for me this year because Taylor Swift is launching her “Red” Taylor’s Version album, and I could not be more excited. I will likely do an entire blog post of that over the weekend. eep. So excited! ❤️
