Doe Lashes Review

By: Shelby Desmarais

I have recently partnered with Doe Lashes to review their products for you all! I tried the "Silver Lining" lashes and I am so excited to share my experience. These lashes are not like the “typical” false lashes you would find at a drugstore. I also did not experience any irritation with these lashes. I highly recommend them for several different reasons that I will discuss in this article.

I grew up a dancer, so I can attest to how horrible false eyelashes tend to be. These are far more comfortable and they are made to be lighter and softer. I have found false eyelashes are usually plastic-like, while these are soft and much more natural looking. They are perfect for an evening out on top of mascara, or a simple day that you just don't have time for a full makeup routine.

Doe Lashes are perfect for every occasion and are far more comfortable than your "typical" eyelashes. They are very affordable and last about 15 uses (often more) before you need to switch out your pair. To me, this is a very important reason why I love these lashes. No one ever wants to buy false eyelashes because they don’t last very long. There is often no in-between from wearing “typical” false eyelashes that are incredibly uncomfortable and getting eyelash extensions, that are crazy expensive. These offer a much more affordable and pleasant option. They are comfortable and easy to use. Doe Lashes provides eyelash glue, an applicator and tutorials to make the process even easier. There is nothing worse than fighting with regular eyelash glue and getting it all over your fingers! They provide basic tutorials so that you aren’t left in the dark and you receive the best possible experience with your eyelashes.

In the photos below, I applied mascara and full makeup before putting on my “Silver Lining” eyelashes. This was a perfect fit for what I was doing that day. It is a perfect option for a more intense night out look, or a more dressy occasion.

Don’t get me wrong, they do not just enhance a fully done night out look, they are an amazing option for when you oversleep your alarm, don't feel like dealing with mascara, run out of mascara or just simply don’t feel like doing your makeup that day. They save so much time and feel much more natural than “typical” false lashes.

They are easy to trim if they are too long or too big for your eyes and Doe Lashes provides a tutorial to help you with that process, as well. Doe Lashes uses Korean Silk to make their lashes.

The plastic-like lashes I was referring to earlier are often made out of Polished Acrylic. Those are clearly not a win when it comes to comfort. Celebrities are often seen wearing mink lashes. Doe Lashes is a cruelty free company, so what they have done is use Korean silk, which is very close to the same texture and feeling of mink lashes, but are completely cruelty free. This allows you to have the comfortable experience that people with mink lashes have, except you can do it with a clear conscience, knowing that yours are made out of Korean Silk fibers. There is more about this on the Doe Lashes website.

They are also a very cost-effective option. As I previously stated, these lashes are about $12.50/pair. For them to last 15 or more uses, that is the best deal you will find on lashes … like ever.

When I started this blog, I told you all that I would never dishonestly promote a product. I will always stick to that. With that, I am here to tell you that if you are looking for a better option than mascara, can’t afford eyelash extensions, need a new and affordable brand of eyelashes, or really just any reason at all, I highly recommend Doe Lashes.
