Hey y'all!
It has seriously been a while since I had a chance to hop on the blog and update you on my life. I have missed being in touch with everyone and I am so excited that I am back.
Life is a beautiful mess of lessons and growth. I have taken a lot of time to remember who I am and who I always wanted to be. I think sometimes we get caught up in the pace of life and rolling with the punches. Sometimes all we need is to take a step back and observe.
Remember when you were younger and you had this vision of who you wanted to be? There were a lot of logistic gaps in what you saw because no one is prepared for being an adult (that is a whole other conversation lol), but you had a general idea of the person you wanted to be.
I have always taken pride in being someone who is fiercely independent. I have had people tell me that is a flaw of mine. It is not. It is a strength. I always wanted to open my own business. I always knew I didn't want to work a typical "office job". Now, please do not interpret that incorrectly, there is nothing wrong with office jobs and if that is your dream then PLEASE do it and own it and be who you want to be! It just wasn't a path I thought I would be happy in. I knew I always wanted the freedom to work when, where and with who I want. I have plans of traveling and adventuring. Now, this is just me. Everyone has different dreams, plans and goals in life. Whatever they are, never stop actively working towards them.
There may be a lot of new faces here, so I would like to give a small back story. If you are looking for my whole back story, that is in previous blogs where you can learn all about me and my life journey. I started this blog during quarantine and I am beyond happy that I did. It was something I always wanted to do, and I knew it was the beginning of something, I just wasn't really sure what yet. After months of blogging and a lot of life changes, it is ultimately what helped me get to a point where I started Shelby Paige Marketing, LLC.
Shelby Paige Marketing, LLC is truly a dream coming true. It is what I always wanted. Those parts of the vision that you can't see when you are younger and imagining yourself in the future are the best elements of the journey. That is what this business is for me. The spontaneous decisions that you don't plan for, often get you exactly where you need to be.
Now, this is a pretty general blog post to get going again but I am planning on blogging at least once each week to update everyone on myself, my company and share some adventures and lessons. Life is crazy so let's enjoy it and have fun.
